Refund Policy

Method Labs Tutoring is committed to providing exceptional educational experiences and maintaining transparent business practices. Because our programs require advance planning, instructor scheduling, facility reservations, and limited class sizes, the following refund policy applies to all services unless otherwise stated.

 

Tutoring Memberships

Monthly membership tuition reserves your student's place in a class or tutoring schedule and is not based solely on attendance.

• Monthly membership payments are non-refundable once processed.

• Refunds or prorated tuition will not be issued for missed classes, vacations, extracurricular activities, transportation issues, or personal scheduling conflicts.

• Membership cancellations become effective according to the Membership Cancellation Policy and do not apply retroactively to payments already processed.

 

One-on-One Tutoring

Payment for individual tutoring sessions reserves a tutor's time.

• Sessions canceled with at least 24 hours' notice may be rescheduled in accordance with the Cancellation Policy.

• Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed without notice, are not eligible for a refund or credit.

• Refunds are not provided for completed tutoring sessions.

Summer Programs

Program registrations require advance planning for materials, staffing, and facility use.

 

Unless otherwise specified:

• A non-refundable deposit may be required at the time of registration.

• Summer programs are non-refundable

• Monthly tutoring programs may be cancelled with 30 day notice. 

• Cancellations after this deadline may not be eligible for refunds.

 

If space allows, families may request to transfer their enrollment to another available session.

 

Student Withdrawal

If a student voluntarily withdraws after a program has begun, no refunds or credits will be issued for unused sessions unless required by law.

 

Behavioral Dismissal

Method Labs reserves the right to dismiss a participant whose behavior creates a safety concern or significantly disrupts the learning environment.

Students dismissed for violating the Code of Conduct are not eligible for refunds or credits.

 

Program Cancellation by Method Labs

If Method Labs cancels a program due to insufficient enrollment, instructor availability, facility issues, or other operational circumstances, families will receive one of the following:

• A full refund;

• A credit toward another Method Labs program; or

• Transfer to another available session.

If Method Labs must temporarily close because of severe weather, emergencies, or circumstances beyond our control, we may provide an online instructional session, a make-up session, or another reasonable alternative. If an alternative instructional option is provided, refunds will not be issued.

 

Materials and Merchandise

Books, learning materials, apparel, kits, and other merchandise may be returned within 14 days of purchase if they are unused, unopened, and in their original condition.

Digital products, downloadable materials, customized items, opened educational kits, and consumable supplies are non-refundable.

 

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method whenever possible.

Please allow up to 10 business days after approval for refunds to be processed, although processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.

 

Exceptional Circumstances

Method Labs understands that unexpected situations may arise.

Requests for refunds outside of this policy due to significant medical emergencies, family emergencies, or other extraordinary circumstances may be submitted in writing for review. Approval of exceptions is at the sole discretion of Method Labs and will be evaluated individually. Granting an exception in one situation does not establish an obligation to grant future exceptions.

 

Agreement

By registering for any Method Labs Tutoring service, parents or guardians acknowledge that they have read, understand, and agree to this Refund Policy.
