Is it a test?
Not the stressful kind! It's a relaxed, one-on-one session with questions that adjust in difficulty based on your child's responses. This helps us pinpoint what they already understand, where gaps may exist, and what they're ready to learn next. There's no passing or failing—just a clearer picture of how to help your child move forward.
Where am I during it?
Parents are welcome to wait nearby in the front lobby. We've got a seating area complete with Wi-Fi and power outlets for busy parents. We'll sit down together at the end to review results and recommendations.
What do I walk away with?
A clear picture of strengths, gaps, and a recommended plan. Every family receives a personalized Student Learning Profile that breaks down their child's assessment results, highlights specific skills they've mastered and areas that need support, and outlines recommended next steps.
Is it a sales pitch?
No pressure, no obligation. Our goal is to give you meaningful insight into your child's learning, whether or not you choose to enroll at Method Labs. We'll explain what we found, answer your questions, and share how our tutoring programs could help if they're a good fit. But there's no expectation to sign up.
